I’m Anna, the founder of Cushii. I’m also a mum of two tiny humans, Benji (3) and Ava (2), and step mum to 2 bigger humans, Oscar (14) and Luca (13). Launching Cushii and the crazy adventure that’s gone with it has been a little over 3 long years in the making.

I started work on my first prototype just after the birth of my first bub Benji after discovering a gap in the market after looking for a portable solution to comfort and cradle him while I got things done around the house.

I was searching for something that was super lightweight, easy to move around, and was kind to our planet. I struggled to find something that ticked all the boxes. I was super passionate about getting the Cushii just right. And that passion sent me on a search for the best premium, functional and sustainable fabrics that my second child and I would put to the test. At that point, I had two children under 15months. The Cushii was my lifeline.

The Cushii came everywhere with me. To park outings with my mother group, postnatal exercise sessions and family visits. Funnily enough, everyone wanted to know where I got my hands on my baby lounger and they loved the concept. I finally launched the Cushii in March 2020.

100% Australian owned we work closely with artists and collaborators who have a close alignment with our brand and share our values. Since our launch, I have been blown away by all the amazing feedback and reviews from new parents. I feel honoured that our product can play an essential role in other families lives. It really does light up our day.
